Precision fabrication supporting production efficiency at the CertainTeed facility in Oxford, NC
relies on efficient, repeatable processes to keep production moving, and that efficiency starts with the right equipment on the shop floor. Our team is currently fabricating custom heavy-duty fixture tables for their facility in Oxford—a project designed to deliver stability, durability, and long-term performance in a demanding industrial environment.
These fixture tables are being built specifically to support CertainTeed’s production workflow, giving crews a reliable surface for consistent, accurate work day after day. While this is still an active build, the foundation is set—and that foundation is where quality truly begins.
Built for Real-World Industrial Use
Industrial fixture tables are not one-size-fits-all. Each operation has unique requirements, from load capacity to surface flatness and layout. That’s why this project focuses on custom fabrication, ensuring every detail aligns with how the tables will actually be used on the production floor.
At this stage of the build:
Frames are fully assembled and squared for maximum structural integrity
Table tops are being fitted, ensuring flatness and proper alignment
All welds and joints are designed to handle heavy loads and constant use
This methodical approach ensures the finished tables will stand up to the daily demands of manufacturing without flexing, shifting, or premature wear.
Why Heavy-Duty Fixture Tables Matter
For manufacturers, fixture tables are more than just work surfaces—they are productivity tools. Poorly built tables can lead to inconsistent work, safety concerns, and downtime. High-quality industrial tables, on the other hand, offer clear advantages:
Improved accuracy for repetitive production tasks
Enhanced safety through stable, rigid construction
Long-term cost savings by reducing repairs and replacements
Better workflow efficiency for fabrication and assembly teams
By investing in properly engineered fixture tables, facilities like CertainTeed can maintain consistent quality while keeping production on schedule.
Our Fabrication Process: Strength You Can Trust
Every industrial fabrication project we take on follows a disciplined process. From material selection to final fit-up, we focus on building equipment that performs in real-world conditions—not just on paper.
For this project, that means careful attention to squareness, weld quality, and surface preparation. Even though the tables are still in progress, the core structure is already in place—setting the stage for a finished product that meets industrial standards and exceeds expectations.
More Updates Coming Soon
As this build continues, we’ll be sharing progress updates and final results once the tables are complete and ready for use. Projects like this highlight the value of custom industrial fabrication and the role it plays in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly.
